The peaceful yet convenient location is 30 min North of Pittsburgh, less than 2 miles from Historic Harmony/Zelienople and only 15 min south of beautiful State parks. The towns provides ample quaint shops, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, walking trails and other activities. Creekfront property offers Kayaking and is across the street from a golf course with a restaurant/bar. The space The recently renovated house has an open floorplan with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activity. The entire house and 1.5 acres of flat lawn is yours to enjoy. A large furnished covered porch along the front offers a peaceful place to sit outside with protection from the elements. There is a bluetooth speaker on the mantle for your use and 5G Wifi with download speeds of 35-143 Mbps and upload speeds of 5-31 Mbps throughout the house. The grill is located on the back porch which is accesible from the back yard right off the kitchen/laundry room area. There is seating for 10 and a fully equipped kitchen offering plenty of cookware, small appliances, dishes and glassware. The first floor bedroom with a queen bed and the upstairs Master bedroom have doors, but the Attic space is opened yet still somewhat private. There is a very comfortable pull out queen bed in the loft area and an extra twin bed off the Master bedroom. Plenty of extra pillows and linens are available for your comfort. There are lots of steps, porches and railings in the house so please use caution. If additional gates are needed for children/pets please let us know. Guest access The entire house as well as the 1+ acre of flat mowed lawn is yours to enjoy. Motion-sensing lights will come on to light up the steps at night when you enter and will go off automatically. 2 additional buildings are on the property. One is a large enclosed pavillion which is currently being used for storage. The other is currently under demolition. Please stay away from these building for your safety. No work will be done on these buildings during your stay so as not to disrupt your privacy and peace. Other things to note The property is conveniently located and easily accessible for a variety of activites. The city of Pittsburgh is an easy 30 minute commute to the south, but the property has a country setting. The house sits approximately 200 ft off the road, providing a peaceful setting, wildlife and the sounds of an occasional train passing by. You will be less than 2 miles from historic small towns full of charm and activity, and approximately 10 miles to the larger town of Cranberry Township. The towns provide walking trails, parks, shopping and plenty wonderful restaurants. Across the street is the Hartmanns golf course with a restaurant/bar (closed in winter) and Porters Cove park with a kayak/canoe launch and a small covered pavillion. A hiking/biking trail along the river which will take you directly into the towns is currently under construction and due to be completed in the summer of 2025. Strawberry Ridge golf course is another beautiful golf course only 5 miles away. The yard is large and flat and borders the Creek, which is accessible from the back yard. There is a firepit with 6 chairs that sits along the rivers edge. You will need to bring your own firewood. There are 2 large state parks 15 minutes to the north providing trails, biking, and water activities.
