Large family home in a former mill

On the edge of the forest of Compiègne, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Paris, our old mill accommodates 12 people in a green and peaceful setting, by the stream that fed the wheel. You can enjoy the forest and its charming villages (Saint-Jean aux Bois, Vieux-Moulin...), discover the nearby tourist sites: the Château de Pierrefonds (7 km), Compiègne (15 km), Retondes (10 km), Villers-Cotterêts and the Cité de la Langue Française (20 km). Astérix Park is about 45 minutes away (60 km). The space The house includes 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets: - on the ground floor, a large entrance, a kitchen open to a dining room (where you can dine 15 people), a back kitchen with toilet, a living room and the mill wheel room; - on the first floor, on one side of the landing, a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom, on the other side, two bedrooms with a bathroom (with bubble bath!) and a toilet; - on the second floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom; - a courtyard where you can eat your meals (with a real light garland for evenings of good weather) and a large garden (1500 m2) bordered by a stream, access to which is not secure. - a garden, about 1500 m2, in which you can enjoy the freshness provided by the stream. This house, which is our family home, is equipped to comfortably accommodate twelve people. Linens and towels are provided. We do not have a TV but a large number of books and comics, as well as Wi-Fi access throughout the house. Guest access Self check-in Other things to note ATTENTION: the garden is bordered along its entire length by the stream (the ru) that fed the mill, without a barrier. Children's safety therefore depends on the vigilance of parents. The entire house is not specially secured for very young children. The house is not equipped with television but there is Wi-Fi in all the rooms Linens and towels are provided. From November 1, a supplement of 30 euros per day for heating will be charged.
