Close to York and Lancaster or could be used as your launching pad for adventures in Baltimore (1 hr) or Philly (1.5 hrs). This is a very large second floor room with a private bath. A small fridge and microwave are available. There is space for an air mattress. (You provide.) Guests enjoy lounging on the deck in the morning or evening, or maybe an evening in the yard at the fire ring. The space This is a very large room (19 x 13) with a queen bed, smart TV, dressers, a table with two chairs and plenty of floor space. While the room is set up with one bed, if you're travelling feel free to bring an air mattress along). We have one additional room listed as "Victorian Elegance". If traveling with friends, consider renting both rooms to sleep 4-6 people. Guest access You'll have access the to the kitchen, dining room, sitting room, piano room (You are welcome to gently play our piano without disturbing other guests within quiet times), deck, front porch and yard (approx 3 acreas). Upstairs (near your bedroom) laundry room is also accessible. During your stay Interaction is up to you. We love to meet new people and would love to get to know you a little better, but understand if you'd would like to lie low and be on your own. Just let us know. We do have 2-3 rented rooms in our home, so other quests may be in community spaces. Other things to note We have friendly pets, but if you don't want them around, we'll see to it that they're sequestered. We have three dogs, two cats and a gold fish named Betty. In consideration of possible other guests in other rooms, please observe an 10 pm quiet time.
