Welcome to our modern cabin! A mile from Marlinton & adjacent from Stillwell Park, this retreat is perfectly positioned for adventure. The Greenbrier River Trail is steps away, you’ll be within walking distance of public river access, Mon National Forest and the Monday Lick Trail system. Our cabin offers access to the best trail & mountain biking in the area. Designed with families & accessibility in mind, the cabin is step free! 2BD/1Bath, shower/tub, Wifi. Private & Quiet. Expansive patio! The space Equipped with 1 Queen, 1 Double, a Pack and Play and portable high chair, it is very family friendly. The cabin is one level, inside and outside on a smooth concrete pad. There are no stairs. There are french doors to accommodate wheelchair access if needed. The bathroom has tub and shower. Kitchen - equipped with oven/range, full fridge, microwave, traditional coffee pot (cone style filters needed) as well as Keurig, toaster, propane Weber grill outside, all cooking utensils. Heating and Cooling - the cabin is climate controlled by two mini-split units which are located in the main living space. These are ductless systems, controlled by remote. There are additional table top fans in each bedroom for comfort. There is an electric fireplace in the living area for use as needed, or aesthetic. Starlink WiFi, offering fast speeds for working remote! There is AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile cell service on property. Smart TV available for login into your own apps & subscriptions. Mountain Bikers - our property has an outdoor spigot for bike washing, and there is enough space between kitchen and living area to securely store your bike inside for the night. We do ask that you clean bike thoroughly before bringing inside. You can bike from our cabin straight to Monday Lick trails, or schedule a shuttle, no need to drive once you’ve arrived. Property is in such close proximity to Greenbrier River Trail, that you can bike in & out of your stay completely. It is exactly 1 mile to the town of Marlinton as well, making it convenient to bike, walk or drive, into town for dinner! Cabin is 24 miles from the entrance to Snowshoe Mtn Ski Resort. (About 30 minutes driving.) **WHEELCHAIR ACCESS** Although we are not fully ADA compliant, we are wheelchair & handicap friendly. Our kitchen island is on wheels to move for ease of access into kitchen and to oven. Our bathroom also has out-swinging door to accommodate WC access with grab bar at toilet. All exterior door thresholds are no larger than 1/2inch, with all interior thresholds flat. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Initial supply of consumables will be supplied, such as toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. Guests will need to purchase their own after initial supply is exhausted. Guests need to bring their own shampoo and body soap. Hand soap and dish soap however are provided. Bed (sheets) and Bath linens (towels) are provided. Host reserves right to decorate for holidays, as well as change decor and furniture as desired. ***PETS*** $75 per pet, per night! Please discuss details with host prior to booking. Pets MUST be crated if left alone inside the cabin. No pets allowed on furniture! Guests will be billed for extra cleaning if significant pet hair or odor is noted upon checkout by housekeeping. You must select that you’re bringing your pets in checkout. Deceitfulness of guests will result in immediate cancellation of stay with no refund. Winter Travel Notice: While an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended for winter travel to our cabin, it is not required. Snow removal will take place when three or more inches of snow have accumulated, or if there is ice buildup. We will do our best to keep the driveway and patio clear of ice, but please keep in mind that this property is located in the mountains. Some snow or ice could certainly be encountered or expected during winter months, depending on the weather forecast for your stay. Be prepared, know your forecast accordingly. Remember please folks, this is a cabin in the Appalachian mountains - there will be a little dust, some fallen leaves in the yard, and a bug that will occasionally sneak inside.
