Naknek River Cabin - King Salmon/Naknek

King Salmon, Alaska is the gateway to Katmai National Park, to the best hunting and fishing in the world. Naknek is home to a world class commercial salmon fishery. The cabin is located on Lynx Loop, about half-way between King Salmon and Naknek. Transportation Options: Tyde Ryde (taxi service) Approx pricing: one way, King Salmon airport to the cabin is $22 per person ($10 per additional rider) Local car rental options: Alaska Eagle Eye Car & Truck Rentals The space The cabin is located between King Salmon and Naknek, and over looks the Naknek river. The cabin includes: - Starlink internet access - spacious kitchen with south facing windows that provide a sunny place to cook, eat or work; - comfortable living area with a TV; - cozy bedroom with a full size bed; - twin bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living area; - one bathroom with a shower; - laundry area; - deck and viewing tower (use at your own risk). Guest access The cabin entrance has an electronic lock. There is a small set of steps from the parking area to access the deck and the front entrance. Press anywhere on the key pad to get started. Enter your code, followed by the check mark, on the lower right. The deadbolt automatically locks after 1 minute. To manually lock the door from the outside, simply enter your code, followed by the check mark. Other things to note WARNING: Cell phone data is extremely limited, only verizon or GCI customers will have access. There is NO FREE WIFI available at or near the airport. Please make arrangements with either car rental (book online) or taxi company prior to your arrival. I am happy to make local calls to arrange for you to be met at the airport by the taxi service. This property is not within walking distance of any stores/services. If you plan to explore the area, you will either need a rental car or to utilize the taxi service.
