The cabin is located halfway between Oslo and Bergen at Haugastøl. The cabin is a great place to stay if you are looking for a genuine Norwegian mountain experience. Great skiing in the winter, and in the summer you will be able to go hiking in beautiful nature. Or maybe your up for a biking tour across Hardangervidda down to the Aurlandsfjord by Rallarvegen? You will find a bike rental at the start of the bike trail. The cabin has accommodation for maximum 8 persons. The space The easiest way to arrive is by car. You will find a big parking 200 meters from the cabin. If you plan to arrive by train, you have to walk 4km from Haugastøl train station. Since we do not live in the area, we are not able to offer a cleaning service. We will have to ask you to leave the cabin, the way you would like to find it yourselves. You will however find clean bed sheets and towels, that you will be able to use. The cabin is a traditional Norwegian mountain cabin. It has electricity and cold water, but no hot water, and no possibility to take a shower. The water is of course safe to drink.
