Perfect for couples or solo travellers. The space The Hideaway has been a dream of ours for a long time. We created it to be exactly the kind of place we would love to 'run away from home to'. Your Stay Includes: A comfy queen-size bed with fresh, sun-dried linen. A basic kitchenette equipped with fridge, utensils, and more. A private ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Wi-Fi to stay connected (if you choose to!) A fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. BBQ for enjoying cooking outdoors. A spacious deck with table and chairs, perfect for soaking in the peaceful farm vista. Extras to Make Your Stay Special: Stay two consecutive nights or more and receive a complimentary grazing box. Add a stargazing kit with a star map and telescope for an unforgettable night under the Southern Hemisphere’s breathtaking skies. Breakfast, BBQ and Grazing Box Extras including farm produce available when the season allows. Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in: From 2pm Check-out: Relax with our extended check-out at 11am Guest access Access to the property is on Price Road, on the outskirts of Peterborough. The Hideaway is nestled in it's own private paddock with it's own entrance. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can either meet us at the Farm Shop where we will introduce you to some of the alpacas (and other animals) before showing you up to the Hideaway, or we will send you through a pin drop and any additional information you need on the morning of your arrival. While not connected to mains power or water, everything you need is right at your fingertips: Solar Power: Lights, TV, kettle and toaster, phone chargers, and fridge are all powered by the sun. Instant Gas Hot Water: Enjoy a nice hot shower. Full Water Tanks: Plenty of water is available for showers, dishes, and more. Simple Electric Flush Canister Toilet: A modern, easy-to-use toilet system ensures your stay is hassle-free. You’ll have all the essentials (and extras!) to make your stay comfortable while enjoying the unique charm of off-grid living. Comfort Meets Sustainability We’re passionate about offering a relaxing escape that treads lightly on the planet. From sun-dried linen and towels to refillable soap and shampoo bottles, every detail reflects our commitment to sustainability. Quirky features like the deck are crafted from upcycled materials and “farm junk,” giving new life to the unexpected. Recycled paper products, eco-friendly bin liners, and a handy food scrap bucket (our pig Dolly and the chooks will love you!) complete the experience. Sustainably isn't a buzz word for us. It's what we do, who we are and simply part of life of the farm.
