Description
We warmly welcome everyone to be themselves and enjoy our property. Come create lasting memories in our unique, family-friendly retreat. Tucked away on a private road, our place offers plenty of space for hiking and the privacy you need to unwind. Whether you're seeking a restful escape, a fun getaway, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or simply quality family time, we have the perfect space for you and we are also pet friendly. The space Escape to a peaceful home where you can truly relax. The covered front deck is a perfect spot to unwind, listen to the nearby creek, or nap in a hammock. Out back, you'll find a deck ideal for barbecues and socializing, with a cozy pellet stove for chilly nights. This home is located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest, offering nearby hiking and the chance to explore majestic giant redwoods. You will be only a 30-minute drive from the incredible Trail of 100 Giants, a must-see part of the Sequoia National Forest. During burn season we do offer an outdoor firepit. You will need to bring your own wood or purchase some at the local store. (not allowed in dry summer months) A note on location: We want to clarify that while Airbnb lists us as a "10-min drive to Sequoia National Park," this is not accurate. We are a 2-hour drive from the main national park entrance. We have requested this correction. Guest access This cabin is fully accessible to guests, with the exception of a single locked utility storage room and two outdoor storage buildings. We also have a propane BBQ, charcoal BBQ, pellet smoker, pellet stove, and fire pit available as permitted. Other things to note The Trail of 100 Giants is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes by car from the cabin. Furthermore, should you have an interest in fishing, people have had success catching fish at the nearby Deer Creek, which has been found to be an enjoyable activity. Please be aware that travel to the cabin during the winter months can sometimes be challenging due to snowstorms. While all-wheel drive is often sufficient, you might need to use tire chains depending on the conditions during inclement weather. Also, please note that there is no cellular service available in the area. However, the cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi that is fast enough for streaming videos or remote work, should you need it.
