Ferry Road Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Be immersed in a peaceful rural setting with a river view. Enjoy a coffee or beverage, if you like, as you see dolphins frolicking or sea eagles gliding by at the outdoor table. Don’t be surprised to hear sheep, goats or cattle munching away next door- your only direct neighbours! The cottage is only 2 mins off the A1. Harrington and Crowdy Head beach is a short drive away. Coopernook Hotel is 5mins drive away and offers lunch and dinner 7 days. The space The cottage has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery and also a dishwasher. Tea and coffee is provided and please feel free to use any condiments that may be in the pantry. A large deck at the back of the house has a bar table and pool table. There is a well maintained river swimming pool and fishing platform in Croki -just a short stroll away. Guest access Access to the cottage is by the gates on the driveway. Other things to note There is a small boat ramp at the end of Ferry Rd. It is a little shallow on a low tide but is good on high tide. Repellent is provided. The cottage is located on the Manning River and in rare cases bookings may need to be canceled by the host, due to possible flooding. A full refund will be issued in this case. The cottage is NOT equipped for charging EV’s. There are charging stations in Taree and at major service stations on the motorway. The cottage is in close proximity to the river. Because of this we have a full pump out system for all water usage. If excessive usage is noticed an additional charge may be incurred. Water usage is monitored after each check out.
