Welcome to our peaceful 2-bed, 2-bath lakefront retreat on Gilletts Lake in Jackson, MI! Located on the quiet side of the lake, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with serene views, cozy vibes, and all the comforts of home. Paddle out to the lively sandbar if you're feeling social, or stay tucked away for a relaxing escape with fishing, kayaking, or just soaking up the calm. Downtown Jackson is just a short drive away—close enough for convenience, far enough for peace The space Set right on Gilletts Lake, our home offers a private, laid-back lakefront experience. The dock is available from May through September (weather permitting—feel free to reach out to confirm). Watch turtles, herons, and a local family of swans glide by (please don’t feed them, no matter how charming they are!). Dog owners, please note: We only allow dogs, and the property is not fenced in and sits close to the road. For safety, we recommend keeping your pup leashed or closely supervised while outside. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck or paddling across the water, this is the kind of place that helps you breathe a little deeper. Guest access You’ll have full access to the home, deck, and yard—plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Just a heads up: the garage is not available for guest use. Other things to note 🐾 We welcome one dog per stay. Service animals are always allowed, of course. If you're bringing more than one animal (including service animals), a $50 cleaning fee will apply for each additional pet. Please keep a close eye on your animals, as the property is near the road and not fenced in. 👶 This property may not be the right fit for families with toddlers. There is a glass coffee table with hard edges and corners, as well as an unfenced lake barrier wall with a 3' drop-off. 🔥 The fireplace is not operational. 🛶 The dock is available from May through September, weather permitting. Feel free to reach out to confirm availability during your stay! 🌊 We don’t currently have watercraft on the property, but you’re welcome to bring your own kayaks, paddleboards, or floats—Gilletts Lake is perfect for it! 🎯 There’s a cornhole set waiting for you in the outdoor chest—great for a little lakeside competition. 📷 Security cameras: a video doorbell at the entrance, one exterior camera facing the garage and parking area, and one facing the dock (for insurance purposes). No cameras inside the home.
