Other things to note THE RED WOODEN HOUSE (72 m² of living space) is airy, spacious and at the same time practical and elegant. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), a spacious bathroom (with bathtub incl. hot tub function) and a large living room with open kitchen and fireplace. All doors in the house are 1 meter wide. In the house, every corner can also be reached with a wheelchair. The spacious carport is located on the side and covers the entrance to the house. This allows you to always bring your holiday luggage and purchases dry directly from the car into the house. And a wheelchair can roll straight from the car into the house. We are happy to welcome older people, people with assistance needs as well as young small families and couples ready for a vacation, but also artists who want to work in peace for a while. We, your hosts, are former theater makers. LIVING / DINING / KITCHEN When you enter the house, you are right next to the large wardrobe. You can store jackets, coats, hats, hats and shoes there. You can see the whole living area. Two steps and you are already in front of the open kitchen area. So short distances with the purchases. When you come into the house, you immediately notice the cathedral-like height. Combined with excellent insulation, it always ensures a fresh coolness in summer. The house is built in residential quality. The floor-to-ceiling living room window, the light wood of the ceiling running obliquely to the gable and the reddish terracotta tile floor always make the house appear sunny. In the fireplace corner, the elegant, Danish wood-burning stove stands like a column-like sculpture. This allows you to heat the whole house in a flash in cold times. SUSTAINABILITY. We think a lot about sustainability: the house, built in 2021, is built according to the standards of an efficiency house. Our electricity comes from GREEN PLANET ENERGY. We heat with infrared electric heaters, demonstrably a sustainable way to heat. On the roof we have two SOLAR SYSTEMS, one with storage (since 2025). Waste separation is clear, we have our OWN WASTE STATION on the property. There is also a bin for ORGANIC WASTE. In addition, we have our own CHARGING STATION with electricity meter for E-CAR DRIVERS. In this respect, our house is UNIQUE in the settlement. GENERAL LOCATION The house is situated in a vacation home development in the middle of the Burtanger Moor nature reserve on Lake Neuringer Moorsee. Around the lake there are just over 20 other vacation homes of various sizes. The holiday park has been built since 2006 by the NIERS family, who run their riding stable with a small petting zoo and children's playground in the front part of the park. The large hall in which the holiday park is located is the property of the Niers family. The gravel paths are lined with trees and shrubs. The houses are all privately owned and individually operated by the owners. In this respect, the pricing is also quite inconsistent. Right at the holiday home park there is a large indoor children's play paradise, also with a large outdoor playground. On Sunday, the Niers family offers an extensive brunch buffet in their event hall "Im Reitstall".
