With nearly floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll wake up to sweeping river views and fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. Inside, the home features a peaceful bedroom with a king-sized heated bed, a cozy reading nook, and direct access to the deck for morning coffee or stargazing at night. You’ll also find a spacious kitchen with a Wolf professional gas stove and generous prep space, a warm wood-burning fireplace, and a luxurious bath suite with a heated walk-in stone shower, dual waterfall shower heads, and a jacuzzi tub. The home includes 1½ baths, a full laundry room, and plenty of comfortable living space for relaxing after a day outdoors. Step outside to enjoy a large wraparound deck, BBQ grill, outdoor fire pit, and tranquil meditation gardens. Guests have private river access for wandering or simply unwinding by the water. We’re located just 30 minutes from Bellingham, 50 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area, and a little over an hour from North Cascades National Park — perfect for adventurers and peace-seekers alike. Your stay includes thoughtful touches like complimentary s’mores and wine. Well-behaved (non barking) pets are welcome! We just ask that they are not left unattended on the property unless arrangements have been made with the host. The property is shared with your hosts and, occasionally in summer, a glamping guest in a separate riverside yurt accessed by its own trail. Guest access You’ll have the entire main house to yourself, including the bedroom, living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and the large wraparound deck. Outdoor amenities such as the fire pit, BBQ, meditation gardens, and private river access are also yours to enjoy. While the property is shared with your hosts, your spaces are completely private. In summer, there may occasionally be a glamping guest in the riverside yurt — but it’s well out of view, set far down a separate trail by the water, ensuring your stay at the house remains peaceful and secluded. Other things to note The unit is the entire upper floor of my home. The lower unit is currently rented to an amazing single gal. We call the ghost as we never know she's home 😊 When I'm not travelling, this is my home. Although plenty of cabinet space is left for you, it will not be decluttered of personal effects.
