The space We warmly welcome you to our wonderful and unique accommodation in Timaru. In 2017, our family made the historic Dominion Hotel our home. While this magnificent building – dating all the way back to 1912 – no longer functions as a hotel, we have numerous rooms available for those visiting this pretty seaside city.* Our convenient location on the corner of Stafford Street means there are plenty of places nearby for eating, drinking and dancing the night away. The beautiful beach of Caroline Bay is only a 5 minute walk away and provides gorgeous views from our sea facing rooms (as well as the opportunity to meet our resident penguins!). *Please note we’re in the process of renovating this impressive building but have already restored and redecorated all the rooms open to guests.
