ONYX SUITE. The space The Onyx Suite is the grandest of the four suites at The Amber House Bed and Breakfast. It has a four poster king bed in the turett, a private bathroom featuring a Bain Jetted Tub and two person shower. It has a two armchairs and an ambient fireplace. The spacious common areas include a wrap around veranda with porch swing and rocking chairs, a parlor with games and books, a dining room, a landing with a cozy chairs and a small balcony, and a deck full of flowers and herbs and comfortable seating. Guests may hang out a bit in the kitchen, although its equipment is for use only by the owners who provide breakfast every morning and dinner by reservation. We are 2 blocks from the Katy Trail, a 240 mile long state park bike path across most of the state. The views of the Missouri River from the trail and from the nearby winery are beautiful.
