Tube 'n Axe boasts the widest spread of accommodation options in Stormsriver Village and set out amidst beautiful indigenous gardens and forest. Our Boutique Backpacker Lodge Rooms are spread out over the 8400 square meter property. Our accommodation is in keeping with the outdoor lifestyle of the Tsitsikamma with a strong focus on nature and Adventure. We have a wonderful entertainment pool bar with a large swimming pool, restaurant and hot tubs and end the evening with a large social bondfire The space The Property boasts 15 En suite Small to Medium size rooms individually situated in our gardens with some having stunning mountain views and other hidden in indigenous gardens. All you see and touch was amazingly built by Marius Marnewecke himself, being no expert and by no means fancy who enjoys the simple way of life and hopes to encourage more folks to stop, see and experience a different side of life. Our tents are an amazing experience but it tends to get a bit chilly in winter however we do provide winter bedding and electrical blankets with heaters to make it more cozy and it's more budget friendly with all the amenities, We purposefully do not have TV's in our rooms as we are avid outdoor enthusiasts encouraging guests to experience that which Tsitsikamma has to offer, in the evening you can enjoy a glass a wine from the bar around the Bond Fire or relax at the pool with a refreshment during those hot summer days. Our tents do have fans but we have no built in aircon. We have a small staff base due to Covid and Recovery and ask for your patience while we rebuild our dream with the staff we have. Guest access Stormsriver Village is a small integrated village also known as the Adventure capital of Southern Africa. Our reception desk is open from 8 am to 10 pm daily but check in preferably before 7 pm with free parking permitted within the property. The village offers a variety of restaurants open till about 8 pm, Our restaurant offering mostly South Africa Food will be open till about 9 pm. The Property is secured with an electrical fence but ask that we all take responsibility for our own well being. The owners currently live on the property. All activities will be bookable via our reception desk should you require additional information or a shuttle service. Please note that we are not a hotel nor a 4 star lodge but offer really nice family friendly vibrant accommodation with bonfire evenings, we try our best of cater for each persons expectations and often times fail and read about it, Please be kind and let us know if you have any issues with your room, often times its just a hot water timer that needs to be adjusted for hot water or the wifi server that requires a reboot or a blind that is stuck that can be sorted out. Other things to note Breakfast is included Lunch and Dinner options is available at Arias Our Food is Freshly made, and some items will take longer so please ask before placing your order. Our food contains no sugars or preservatives. We have a wonderful selection of Al carte dinner options from pizza, to wraps , lasagne steaks. vegan meals as well as gluten free and more.... We do not have Aircon in the rooms but it does have a Fan and heater with a fully stocked Bar Fridge for your convenience, you will find a price list on top of the fridge
