The Tailor's Villa

The tailor master villa is a renovated two-story house from the early 1900s with preserved details and modern amenities. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, toilet with shower and washing machine as well as a south-facing terrace. The upper floor has a bedroom, kitchen and living room with TV and fireplace, balcony in southeast location and a bay window overlooking the river Lagan. Grocery store and downtown are 2 kilometres away. A comfortable base for both relaxation and excursions. The house is not accessible. Welcome to book! The space Skräddarmästarvillan is a charming yellow two-story house built in the early 1900s, carefully renovated with respect to both the history of the house and modern amenities. From the bay window, you have a beautiful view of Lagan, and the house is only 2 km from the city center and the nearest grocery store. The name derives from the history of the house – the town's tailor grew up here. His study was at the top of the house, and through the small attic window you could often see him sitting and sewing far into the night. Floor plan and rooms On the ground floor there are two bedrooms: • The first bedroom has a bunk bed and a crib, making it perfect for families with children. • The second bedroom has a sofa bed and a simpler workstation. From here there is an exit to the terrace, where you will find a dining area, barbecue and sun loungers – perfect for enjoying the sun in the south. • On this floor there is also a toilet with shower and washing machine, which makes it practical even for longer stays. One flight of stairs up, you reach the bay window immediately when you get up. • To the left is the bedroom, which has a double bed and an entrance to the kitchen. • To the right is the spacious living room, which is furnished with a sofa, fireplace, a bed and a dining table for 6–8 people. • From the living room, you also have access to a balcony in the east, which makes it perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the morning sun. Area and activities Nearby there are plenty of activities for both adults and children. In summer, you can visit the local outdoor pool, where three heated pools await, or take a dip at the popular beach. For the adventurous, there is dresin rental, where you can cycle along the old railway – the dresins even pass by the house! Other nearby activities include mini golf and a pizzeria for a relaxed meal. If you want to explore more of the surroundings, Smålandet Älgpark is only 15 km away, where you can go on an elk safari and get really close to the impressive animals. The tailor-made villa is a perfect starting point for a relaxing stay with culture, nature and activities within reach.
