Iron Pear Tree farm has been family run for three generations. Restoring the unused farm buildings has been a labour of love for us, and we wanted to make sure that we provided unique accommodation whilst maintaining the history of the buildings. The farm is a working one, so guest will be able to relax and enjoy the country setting, as well as get to know our animals. Views out across the farm provide the perfect backdrop for a country get-away whatever the season. The space The Cartlodge is a beautifully restored barn, originally used to house the horse pulled machinery that helped work the farm. Its many classic features such as oak beams and flint walls, work well alongside modern décor and facilities. Sleeping two adults, it has a lovely spacious double bedroom/living area with separate seating area in the stunning kitchen. The large, light kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to prepare and cook delicious meals. This stunning, black clad barn, opens directly on to the farm and guests are welcome to explore the land and enjoy the views. ~Max occupancy~ 2 Adults & up to 2 Children 3 years & under. Childs bed/Travel cot supplied on request. Please select number of adults and let us know if any children will be staying & sleeping requirements upon booking. ~Please Note~ This property does not accommodate dogs/pets Guest access Access to and from the surrounding villages and towns could not be easier with our very own bus stop situated just outside the farm entrance. Just a short drive into the village is a lovely pub, and if you are looking for somewhere to eat there is a variety of pubs, restaurants and eateries just a short drive away. Guests can also access a public footpath at the very bottom of the farm which provides a lovely woodland/country walk into the village. Free onsite parking for up to TWO cars is provided right outside your accommodation. The farm is a secure site with access codes given before guests stay. Other things to note Please note: Outside space for this accommodation is limited, however guests have full access to the farm for country walks and stunning views. Although you will see guests with dogs onsite, this property does not accommodate dogs/pets We do accept up to 2 children 5 years & under. A small travel bed is included in the property and travel cot can be provided on request.
