Time out in the converted barn, 157 m²

Hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing or simply relaxing and watching the stars by the campfire - come and enjoy the peace and quiet here in Oberwilzingen together with your partner, friends or family just two kilometers walk from the beautiful Lautertal. The space Relax in our generously converted barn in the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve for 2 to 6 people. In summer, a huge terrace provides space for cozy, undisturbed evenings outdoors, while in winter, stoves in the living room and bedroom invite you to spend cozy hours by the crackling fireplace. In the bedroom downstairs, there is a large bed with two mattresses (1.80 m wide in total). The room can be darkened somewhat with blinds and curtains. The bedroom on the open mezzanine features a 1.40 m-wide double bed under the exposed beams. By the fireplace in the living room, there is a comfortable pull-out box spring sofa with a sleeping area of 1.40 x 2 m. The living room and bedroom are heated by wood-burning stoves. In addition, there are two electric heaters in the bedroom. The bathroom has underfloor heating. We are happy to provide you with firewood for the wood-burning stoves and for the fire pit on the terrace. Of course, you are welcome to use the natural garden with its huge meadow and our small grove. We live in the farmhouse next door and will be happy to help you with any concerns. Nevertheless, the barn is a separate building where you can fully enjoy your privacy. Other things to note To get from the living room or bedroom in the gallery to the bathroom, the lower bedroom must be crossed once or walked around the house once. There is no oven, no dishwasher and no television. The nearest place with shopping, restaurants and the famous nature theater is Hayingen (4 km). Other great destinations in the area are the Glastal, the Wimsener Höhle, the Landesgestüt Marbach, the Münster in Zwiefalten and Kloster Obermarchtal, the Schloss Mochental with its art exhibitions and the Biosphärenzentrum in Münsingen. Ulm is a good 45-minute drive or train ride from Rechtenstein.
