Nestled in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country, this two-storey Western Red Cedar property offers a serene and luxurious escape with everything you need for a perfect stay. The space With six air-conditioned bedrooms and five bathrooms, Elderslie House provides spacious living areas, a wood-burning fireplace, a refreshing in-ground pool, and a large air-conditioned games room equipped with a pool table and table tennis. Situated just 10 minutes from the vineyards and the renowned restaurants and cellar doors on Wine Country Drive, Elderslie House is also close to the Vintage Golf Course, making it the perfect base for exploring the Hunter Valley. Features & Layout Step through French doors onto wide wrap-around verandahs on both levels, offering picturesque views of the gardens, pool, and surrounding countryside. The ground floor boasts an open-plan modern kitchen, dining, and sitting area, featuring a large refectory table and a cozy wood-burning fire—ideal for gatherings. The master bedroom and main bathroom are also located on this level. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious lounge area and three additional bedrooms, each with a modern en-suite and a high quality king sofabed that can be made into 2 singles. The studio—just a 1-minute walk via a covered walkway—offers two more bedrooms, a bathroom, and laundry. (only available to 10 of more guests) To ensure year-round comfort, air conditioning is available throughout the property. Ground Floor Kookaburra – one King bed or two King singles with main bathroom next door. We can supply an additional single bed on request. First Floor Falcon – one Queen bed with ensuite Kingfisher – one King bed or two King singles with ensuite Corella – one King bed or two King singles with ensuite. A king sofa bed in the lounge (can be split into 2 singles) is available on request Studio - is included when you over 11 plus guests Rosella – one King bed or two King singles plus a King single with the Studio bathroom Lorikeet – one Queen bed with the Studio bathroom The studio is only available to bookings of over 10 guests. If you require the studio for 10 guests and under, there is a $250 linen charge We also have baby cots and a high chair available on request. SECURITY DEPOSIT A security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival and expires 3-5 days after your departure LONGER STAYS Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available for longer stays of 4 nights and over. NOTES One night stays are available midweek. Weekend one night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge. Weekend Public Holiday bookings must a minimum 3-night stay at full house and studio weekend rate. Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full house and studio weekend rate. Concert weekends must be a minimum of 11 guests and may attract a surcharge.
