Cozy pantry near mountains, Storlidalen and Oppdal

Stay in a charming traditional barn at Rønningen Gard – idyllically located at the entrance to Storlidalen and majestic Trollheimen 🏔️ The Stabburet is preserved in its original style, while comfortably furnished: • Kitchenette and cozy living room on the ground floor • Sleeping area on the 2nd floor with comfortable bedding In the yard you will find the barn with: • Clean water • Toilet and shower • Sauna – perfect after a hike 🪵 Wood, bed linen, towels and dishes are included. Everything is ready for a relaxing stay The space The two hundred year old Stabburet is located in the yard at the farm Rønningen on Lønset. Close to nature, you can start the cross-country tour or the top tour just outside the door. Grocery store is located 900m below the farm. On the farm we have a trampoline and swing stand, otherwise a large lawn on the back of the house that you can use for play or relaxation. On the property we also have some regular guests in cabins and with parking space. Guest access Stabburet is located in the yard next to our residential house, with its own entrance and a small terrace. Guests have access to parking along the road at the back of the yard (indicated on the map), in addition there is a common sanitary facility in the barn with toilet, shower and sauna, as well as more space for e.g. washing dishes. We live on the farm ourselves and have some private areas and objects that are not available for guests. If you have any questions, just ask. There are also other regular guests in the yard and we hope everyone can show consideration for each other. Other things to note The Stabbur is over 200 years old and we have tried to make it as authentic as possible, while we want our guests to be comfortable. The Stabbur does not have running water, but guests have access to water, toilet, shower and sauna in Fjøset, just across the yard. In winter time it can be a little cold in a Stabbur, but with both electric heating, wood stove (🪵 included) and comfortable furniture we are quite sure that you will enjoy your stay!
