Located 900 m from the most beautiful beach in Calvados (Omaha Beach), also a very famous beach of the Allied landing, we offer a furnished GITE, with every comfort, for a capacity of 8 people (ideally 6 adults and 2 children or teenagers). This vacation villa is suitable exclusively for seasonal rental. It is a real TOURIST FURNISHED PROPERTY whose sole purpose is to welcome tourists. Professional host registered with SIRENE since 2006. The space Our FURNISHED TOURIST ACCOMMODATION is very warm and very bright. It's actually a real 130 m² family home. It is arranged as follows: - ground floor: living room with open fireplace, American fitted kitchen with a dining room, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, bathroom with a superb bathtub/shower and separate toilet, laundry room, cellar - upstairs: a very large bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 alcove-mezzanine (sleeps 2) and on the landing a shower room and 1 separate toilet. Household equipment: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, vacuum cleaner, iron, HI-FI chain, DVD player, waffle maker... There is also the possibility to park 4 vehicles in the courtyard (private parking). Not to mention our small private garden of 1100 m², surrounding the house, perfectly enclosed, with terrace and garden furniture, where barbecues are of course available in the middle of the flowers. Gîte mainly welcoming intergenerational families (parents, children, grandparents) for a holiday "by the sea". This gîte is unpretentious, typically Norman. It is a simple house, totally renovated but remaining old in its layout. - EQUIPMENT AT YOUR DISPOSAL - washing machine, dryer, very functional fitted kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, waffle maker, electric knife, pressure cooker, cookware...), hairdryer, hi-fi system, DVD player, 80 cm TV and TNT, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board... - barbecue area with: * superb concrete, stone barbecue * reconstituted stone garden furniture * deckchairs (sunbathing, Chilean...) * umbrella... - 220 x 240 duvets, 060 x 040 pillows and fleece blankets for each bed - central oil heating (heating on from October to May) - NO HEATING in June - July - August and September. And because our resources are valuable, we encourage you to be reasonable. - fireplace and small firewood provided at the rate of 1 fire/night, the fireplace not being the main heating mode but a pure amenity. - board games - 1 adult bike and 1 child bike --- ALL EQUIPMENT TO WELCOME BABY (bed, changing mat, highchair, bathtub, sterilizer...) is possible, upon request, free of charge --- PETS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED --- We do not accept HOLIDAY VOUCHERS The electrical installation of the cottage is not suitable for charging an electric vehicle (risk of overvoltage and disconnection of the Linky meter). You will discover all the pleasures of the sea, from relaxing on a sandy beach, to the joys of water sports of all kinds. For nature lovers, walking tours are also available along the entire coastline and in the forest (800 meters away). The Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Park is nearby and you can observe, depending on the season, water hens, herons, cranes... All that makes the charm of life in the heart of nature. The vacation rental is located close to exceptional historical sites: Colleville American Cemetery, La Cambe German Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, Queen Mathilde's Tapestry in Bayeux (15 minutes), museums of all kinds... Possibility of baby equipment on request (bed, highchair, sterilizer, bathtub...) Other things to note Hosting in the Omaha area for over 18 years, my vacation homes are exclusively suitable for seasonal rentals (they are absolutely not secondary residences). Living nearby, I welcome you upon arrival and advise you on local entertainment and visits to do in the surrounding area. - A SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUESTED UPON ARRIVAL (350 euros). In the absence of rental damage, this security deposit will be returned to the tenant within a maximum of 10 days after their departure, by mail. --- SERVICES (request when booking) - rental of linens and towels (towels, bath sheets, gloves, tea towels): €12 per person - bed linen rental (fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases): €12 per person - Optional cleaning for: €90. The tenant will take care of the storage and cleaning in order to leave the rented house in the condition in which they found it. Please note that if the cleaning has not been carried out correctly by you upon departure, a sum of €90 will be withheld. And, if the house is "soiled on all sides" (not regularly maintained in a prudent and responsible manner), this package is increased to €120. A check corresponding to the cleaning fee (i.e. €90) will then be requested upon check-in: it is not cashed and will be returned with the deposit if the cleaning is carried out correctly.
