Esperöd Farm

The house was built in 1864 and is part of a small farm property, situated on the bank of Göta Älv, one of Sweden's largest rivers. The surrounding countryside is farmland and forest with lots of lakes. We keep bees, sell honey and grow veggies and berries. Our long term vision is to have animals and to convert the paddocks into flowering meadows. We love meeting people from all over the world and are happy to share some local gems with you! The space The house has been in the family since the 1890s and we strive to preserve the cultural heritage by keeping the authentic design and materials where possible. Renovations are carried out in an old-fashioned style. Guest access You'll have the entire upper floor to yourself, fully self-contained. There's a separate entrance. You'll be able to go wherever you like outside - the garden, the river, the fields. Feel free to explore our forest as well! Other things to note Please note that the staircase is a little steep. Access to the bathroom is via the second bedroom. STRICTLY NO SMOKING! NO PARTIES!
