Quietly located apartment in a historic artist's house in the Goetheanist architectural style. With a conservatory, guest parking, private entrance, private outdoor seating in a beautiful garden overlooking the Birs Valley. The apartment is ideally located for visiting the Goetheanum and its events, exploring Basel and excursions into nature or relaxing holidays with a view. The space The house was completely renovated in 2020. The ground floor apartment has a floor space of approx. 70 square meters, a large living room with an open kitchen and a separate dining area. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and the adjacent modern bathroom has a bathtub. The sofa bed in the living room can be used as another double bed (160 x 200 cm). The fully equipped kitchen has an electric hob with 4 plates, oven, kettle and enough work surfaces. The Goetheanum is a 7-minute walk away and the nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. By car you can reach the highway connection to the A3 (towards Zurich / Bern / Lucerne or Germany / France) outside peak hours in 10 minutes; to the parking garage at the Kunsthaus in the center of Basel in 15 – 20 minutes. Other things to note No Wi-Fi radiation sources are used in the house. The Internet connection for laptop and mobile phone is provided with an Ethernet cable connection, cables and adapters are provided. Above the apartment is a hall where lectures, artistic events and courses take place from time to time. It may happen that you notice something of this in the apartment: classical music played on the grand piano, the movement of people, steps on the parquet. All soaps, detergents and bed linen provided are organic (Sonett brand, etc.). The washing machine in the apartment can be used for a fee of CHF 5 per wash.
