We offer for rent our 15th century family home. The 5 ha property consists of a park with swimming pool, meadow and wood, in a quiet hamlet. At the end of the park is an early 11th century Priory formerly attached to the Cluny order with a ruined church whose capitals are classified as historical monuments. The property is located between Angoulême (25 min) and Limoge (45 min) in a typical Charentais countryside composed of bocage and forest. The space The house consists of 6 bedrooms, including a library that also serves as a bedroom. It is organized with 4 bathrooms, including a bathroom with bathtub and 4 toilets, including a separate toilet on the ground floor. The bathrooms are not recent, except for two showers that have been recently redone. The kitchen was completely renovated in spring 2024. The washing machine is in a small technical building in front of the house. A ping pong table is available for your use. The 10-meter-long swimming pool is of course secure, it has a small pool and a large swimming pool. Guest access the entire house is available as well as the entire property. Pets are welcome, except on the floors... Other things to note The hamlet of Chatelars is 6 km from Chasseneuil where all the shops are located A large Leclerc center is located in La Rochefoucault, 15 km away.
