Once a month, the High Street comes alive with a farmers’ market, where you can pick up fresh produce direct from local growers. Golf enthusiasts will find themselves wonderfully placed, with Haddington Golf Club just half a mile away, the renowned courses of Gullane and Muirfield approximately 5.5–6 miles to the northwest, and The Renaissance Club around 6.8 miles along the coast. Drem train station is just a nine-minute drive away, offering a quick 15-minute journey into the heart of the capital or, in the opposite direction, the elegant seaside town of North Berwick. For those who love the outdoors, the surrounding area boasts twelve scenic trails for walking, cycling and running. One of the highlights is the Riverside Walk, which follows the River Tyne as it winds through the town, offering the chance to spot otters, kingfishers and a variety of local wildlife. Free on-street parking is available directly outside the house, making arrivals and departures effortless. Guest access Guests will be met on arrival by a local person, shown around and given keys. This is an ideal time to find out as much as you can about the area. Due to licensing requirements, we are unable to accept check ins after 9pm.
