The tenants have 2 small dogs that are friendly and kept within the fenced garden. At the front of the property there is a lovely open space with large gum trees and log seating to relax in nature and enjoy the wildlife. You can also catch amazing sunsets there. The resident magpies are friendly and love small treats and kangaroos and a variety of cockatoos often frequent to area. The kookaburras can be spotted sitting in the trees and heard laughing on dusk. At the back of the property there is a fenced paddock that can be accessed via the gate between the two sheds. Please keep the gate closed as the neighbour's horses often graze in the paddock. The horses are shy and unlikely to approach unless you have treats. If you would like to give them some carrots or bread, we recommend feeding them over the backyard fence next to the sheds to keep yourself safe as they may become excited over the treats. There is a variety of wildlife that frequents this part of the property also - you may even see the seasonal Kingfishers that nest in the termite mounds in the summer months and native pheasants. Fire Safety: The home has interconnected smoke alarms and the remote is kept in the bottom drawer in the kitchen if they are accidentally triggered. There is also a fire blanket located in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. The sliding security screen-doors in the laundry and two bedrooms overlooking the pool area can be key locked. This enables guests to leave the glass sliding doors open for the breezes. The screen-door in the Dining/Family room can be hand locked inside and the guard-plate prevents the screen from being opened from outside. Fires are NOT permitted to be lit in any other area of the property under any circumstance. Please only use the Open Fire-place in the Lounge room or the Fire-pit in the Courtyard.
