Lots of shopping, eating, drinking, sightseeing within a short walk from our door. VERY IMPORTANT! Please read my pet and parking disclosures before booking. The space This location is the best because within two city blocks you have access to many gay and straight bars, very popular restaurants, famous bakeries, grocery stores, parks, historic landmarks, public transportation and shopping. In 1776, this was the location for Mission Dolores church and I'm sure one of the reasons for this location was the sun pocket this neighborhood provides. You will notice the fog rolls down Twin Peaks mountain and breaks clear by the time it comes close to Castro street. Out of 220 open green spaces to visit in the city, Dolores park located down the street is ranked number three, as most popular. Guest access The private deck with BBQ and fire pit. Also a common garden area on the ground floor with a fire pit. Perfect for an afternoon lunch, sunbathing or enjoying tea. Other things to note Since the property is located on Church street, the streetcars tend to rumble the house a bit when they go by. Personally I don't even notice because I'm used to it. I do provide earplugs for light sleepers. QUITE & TRANQUIL HOME: Please be aware that this home is a sanctuary and not a party place. No drugs are allowed or excess drinking. It’s a restful place. NO loud parties or gatherings are allowed. If this occurs, Termination of your stay with no refunds will happen. CHILDREN: This home is NOT a child safe environment. Therefore, we do not recommend children stay at this property. PET DISCLOSURE: Must read before booking. We are very pet friendly and don’t charge extra for bringing your furry children with you. So please be responsible pet parents and help us keep the cost down. Here are the conditions: . Let us know if you bring a pet. Let us know if it sheds. Let’s have a plan for hair management ahead of time. We don’t want to find out that you brought a pet after you leave and we have to spend two hours cleaning up hairs from the comforter and sofa. YOU are responsible for all hair cleanup. No pets allowed on the bed or sofa. Bring your own covers to place on the bed and sofa. We can provide if you forget to bring them. We can provide you with a vacuum, and lint rollers to clean up hair. This keeps the cost down if YOU clean up your pet hair. By brining a pet, you agree to self hair management. If we have to do it, its a $50 extra charge. ▪ Please disclose that you are bringing a pet. ▪ No constant loud barkers. ▪ Don’t leave your dog unattended in the room barking. Our walls are thin and noice travels easy here. If I receive complaints from other guests, you must stop the barking immediately or we will have to terminate your stay if necessary. No refunds at this point. ▪ You are financially responsible for any damages caused by your pet. ▪ Only well behaved and house broken pets are welcome. ▪ Puppies are welcome but they are not to be unattended. PARKING DISCLOSURE: • On our street, parking is by permit only Monday thru Friday. • Two hour restrictions start at 10am to 7pm. Saturday and Sunday there are no parking restrictions. • Street cleaning is Wednesday 6am to 8am on our side of the street. • Street cleaning is Monday across the street. Same times. • I offer on first come bases the parking spot that blocks our garage. Restrictions do not apply when a vehicle is blocking my driveway. This is available Monday through Friday only. On the weekends you can park anywhere. Your car must fit in this spot and not block my neighbors driveway. • There is free parking a few blocks away around Dolores Park. You will have to drive around and read the signs. • “Day Parking Pass” I have a limited number that I purchased from the City and they are for sale at $20 each per day. • There are two parking lots a few blocks away. Huff and 16th Streets, and on 17th and Valencia Streets, at the funeral home parking lot. $15 to $20 per day. I highly suggest not having a car here if you can avoid it. If you must have a car to leave the city, I suggest renting one for the times you need it. I use the “Getaround” app. They are privately owned cars in the neighborhood you can rent by the hour. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING INSIDE THE CAR! NOTHING! Brake-ins are common in the City. Registration Details 2023-008908STR
