Historic Stone House

A slice of Sicilian history, this unique character property is the perfect Mediterranean hideaway in Cianciana, Sicily. The House, named Case del Pozzo is in the historic part of town 3 mts walk from the nearest Pizzeria and Restaurant and the local bars and supermarket. Please note the price is per night for up to 6 occupants. There are 3 double bedrooms and a separate sofa bed and bedroom/bathroom downstairs. For longer stays of more than 28 days, please contact me for a discounted price. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs with a shared toilet and shower, 1 with a bath and a bedroom downstairs which is en-suite. Downstairs there is a working Well with an abundance of fresh, clean mountain water. One of the bedrooms has a spiral staircase leading to a small but pleasant outside terrace with cushions and chairs for you to use. Downstairs there is satellite TV and internet available at a small charge of 15 Euros which works well throughout the house. There is a living room, leading to a well equipped kitchen including everything you will need for your stay. The house has solar water heating panels holding 300 litres - plenty for the summer hot months! In the Living Room there is a wood burner and the house also has 3 calor gas heaters if required during winter stays. There is a local market on Tuesdays and one on Thursday mornings in Ribera 15 minutes by car. The beautiful natural beaches are 35 minutes by car and well worth a visit.
