We’re delighted to have you in our friendly home—not a hotel. Our cosy retreat in Goodna, QLD is a short walk from the train station (350 m) and Woolworths (650 m), making it easy to get around. Wake up to birds chirping, enjoy a coffee or brunch at a nearby café, and soak up the friendly local vibe. Relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The space Take a rest in our spacious room (3.04m x 2.56m), offering plenty of comfort with a double-sized bed for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the entertainment area, breathe in the fresh outdoor air, or try firewood cooking if you like. Firewood is available as long as it is dry. In the evening, the house yard looks beautiful with a swing and hammock for relaxation. Start your morning with a cup of coffee or end the day with a chilled drink to make the most of your stay. Guest access At Maona's Abode, we invite you to experience the comfort of home away from home. Enjoy full access to all amenities and feel at ease knowing that everything you need is readily available to make your stay truly enjoyable and convenient. During your stay You are always welcome to chat or ask questions. I work from home, and if I am in a meeting, you are free to use the backdoor for convenience. To keep the space peaceful for everyone, we keep noise to a minimum and appreciate it if you do the same. Other things to note As someone who values spirituality, I truly cherish the calm and peaceful energy of this home. In the afternoons, you may also meet my beloved daughter, who brings joy and laughter to our space, feel free to say hello. To help maintain this peaceful environment, we kindly ask that you do not smoke in the house or eat in your room. Living in Queensland means being close to nature. You may hear birds at night, in the morning, or during the day, and occasionally notice small visitors such as possums, squirrels, cats, ants, or even the occasional cockroach—inside or outside the house. Please don’t be alarmed. They are part of the natural ecosystem, and we do not harm or overkill them, as nature maintains its own balance. We appreciate your kindness and understanding.
