Bedgebury Forest Barn is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty right next door to Bedgebury Forest. Immerse yourself in the beautiful, tranquil setting of the forest with numerous walks and bike trails directly from the little gate at the end of our beautiful garden. The perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the numerous, castles, historic houses, National Trust properties, gardens, beaches and many other visitor attraction in Kent and Sussex. The space The Barn was completely refurbished in 2025 to create a warm, relaxing beautiful space. It is an open plan studio apartment with spectacular views across the open countryside and fields from one side and the tranquil garden and forest on the other. There is a comfortable King sized bed with fresh white egyptian cotton sheets to sink into, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a spacious bathroom with large walk in rainforest shower. The kitchen is well equipped with single induction hob, kettle, toaster, air fryer, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, pots and pans etc. There is a small dining table with 2 chairs. Breakfast with a view! You have your own little patio area with table, chairs, umbrella and barbeque. Feel free to relax in one of the many seating areas around the garden listening to the birds. Please note there is an external staircase to reach the door to Bedgebury Forest Barn. The property is not suitable for people with mobility issues. The Barn sleeps 2 ADULTS (Not suitable for children) WE DO NOT ALLOW UNREGISTERED GUESTS/VISITORS AT ANY TIME INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY (due to insurance restrictions). It is PET AND SMOKE/VAPE FREE ACCOMODATION. Guest access Upon arrival there is a dedicated parking space in the little private lane next to the property. To access the barn you will need to walk down the side of the property and up the wooden stairs to the top of the Barn. You can come and go as you please. You have your own little courtyard area with wooden patio table and umbrella. There is also a barbeque for use if required. We have this year built a beautiful wooden pergola with a seating area to relax in. You are free to enjoy this area along with all the other little seating areas in the garden. We also have a hammock between the trees. The accommodation is all on one upper floor which is accessed by a wooden exterior staircase. Other things to note A breakfast basket of eggs, milk, granola, yoghurt, bread, croissants, butter and jam is provided. Please advise of any allergies at time of booking. Complimentary homemade cake is served on arrival to welcome you to Bedgebury Forest Barn B & B. Bedgebury Forest and National Pinetum is right next door and Bewl Water Reservoir is approximately 4 miles away. There are so many beautiful walks on our doorstep. Please bring your wellies! There are numerous National Trust properties including the wonderful Sissinghurst Castle with its beautiful gardens (9.4 miles) and Scotney Castle (4.3 miles) away. The Ancient Town of Rye - 17 miles Coastal Town of Hastings - 17 miles Historic Battle and Abbey - 10.6 miles Royal Tunbridge Wells - 12.3 miles The Pantiles (Tunbridge Wells) - 10.7 miles Pashley Manor Gardens - 3.7 miles Our local shopping area is Hawkhurst which is 3.3 miles away. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and takeaways as well as a cinema, chemist, petrol station and EV charging and a Waitrose and Tescos supermarket. Ticehurst is also just 2.3 miles away and has many pubs, shops and restaurants.
