Sometimes without comfort ? Possible here, without electricity and running water. Fresh water from a spring, which is also possible (7-minute walk). Campfire, yes. Biotilet? Available. Great hiking trails (Schächerbachtour) almost at your doorstep. Forest animals? Plenty. What you need: air bed,sleeping bag,blanket,food,drink. Curious? The space The weekend house is simple and modest, about 50 square meters. It is most beautiful when you sit on the large balcony in the evening and the sun slowly sinks behind the trees and nothing can be heard except bird voices and the rippling of the stream. In the morning, the sun comes over the trees and you look at the green meadow hill and enjoy your coffee. The cabin is in the middle of forest and meadow. Deer, rabbits, dragonflies, etc. can almost always be observed. Please bring air beds/mattresses, blankets or sleeping bag, due to Corona/hygiene. Wooden pallets are available as a base for the air beds. Fresh water of about 70 liters is available in containers and can be fetched if necessary, about 3 km away or at the source, combined with a walk through beautiful forests A grill and a gas stove, pots and dishes are available. For a small one-time fee (€25.00), a power generator (very quiet) and a fan heater can also be used. Gasoline and gas are billed according to usage. Optimal length of stay 3-6 days. Pets (up to 2 dogs) are allowed. !!!Please note: The stream is not part of the rental and is also not fenced. In the event of accidents, etc., the liability of the landlord is excluded. Parents are liable for their children. When booking, you declare that you are informed about and accept this regulation and thus the exclusion of liability in the event of accidents on/with the stream!!!!! Guest access You need a car to get to the cottage/weekend house. Parking is not a problem. If there are several cars, please stop on the upper dirt road and only drive one car through the meadow to the hut. Access via a key safe. When booking, I send a short video, everything is described there. Other things to note The nearest shopping/shops/restaurants etc. are in Homberg (Ohm) about 6 km away. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. You can also easily visit swimming lakes in different sizes. The distance to the swimming lakes is 7 km (Windhain) and 25 km (Antrifftalsperre). Great hiking trails/premium hiking trail (Schächerbach tour 500 m away)/(Geotour 7 km away) are practically at your doorstep. A children's adventure playground (Buchholzbrücke), in the middle of the forest, can also be easily reached with a short hike of about 4 km. 2 cider houses in the Ohm Valley (about 4 km) are definitely worth a trip. Homberg Castle (partly in ruins) with great views of the Ohm Valley is also worth a visit.
