Beautiful and characterful newly converted stable

Welcome to our newly converted stable which forms part of our 250 year old farmhouse. The stable is situated at the rear of the property, in a peaceful and quiet location. We provide a welcome basket with a few basics on arrival and a booklet with information and recommendations on the local area. The Stable is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful or romantic stay but with lots to do and explore on your doorstep. We look forward to hosting you and we sincerely hope you enjoy your stay. The space The Stable offers 1 spacious bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobe and window seat made from the original barn doors, plus en-suite shower room. Comfortable living space with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The Stable should provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a sunny courtyard area adjoining the Stable which is a lovely quiet spot for enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine at night whilst stargazing. Please note it is not an enclosed area for dogs. It also doesn’t have direct access from the property, you need to exit out the front door and up some steps in order to access it, the steps are quite steep and could be difficult for people with mobility issues. Please see photos. Free private parking for 1 car is available directly outside the stable. Carhampton is a quiet village, our property is within 5 minutes drive to Minehead, a short walk to the beautiful village of Dunster through a deer park and a nice stroll to Blue Anchor beach. We are great for exploring Exmoor, the South West Coast Path and all the beautiful surroundings that Somerset has to offer. Other things to note 1 dog is welcome but please do not allow them to sit on any of the furnishings - the living room furniture or bed. This also includes the use of dog blankets on the furnishings as hair and smell can transfer. They must also not be left in the property alone. Children are also welcome, we can provide a travel cot but you will need to provide the bedding, or your own bed for an older child.
