Downstairs there is a lovely lounge room with TV and log burner leading out to an original stone walled courtyard. There is a kitchen that is shared with myself. The cottage is very quirky, warm and comfortable. surfboards, cycles can be kept in the courtyard as long as you can secure them safely. Seagull Cottage is on the main road of Southerndown in the Vale of Glamorgan. The coastline is Heritage Coast. The area is of outstanding beauty. I hold for my guests maps, historical articles as well as safety tips and the sea has the 2nd highest tidal system in the world brushing alongside 300' cliffs, without barriers. Horses, sheep, dogs on leads, tractors, cyclists, joggers, surfers, walkers and runners all use the road outside the cottage. The Bay is called Dunraven Bay, wide sands pebbled and fossilised rocks the introduction. Horseriding, Castles, Lighthouse, Roman ruins, Estuary and River Ogmore, Sand dunes, sunken ships, pirate stories, so much to see in a natural environment of Red Kites, Sea Eagles, and other wildlife.
