Mid- Century Modern House with Pool close to Baby Beach

The house is located in Seroe Colorado close to Baby Beach and Rodgers Beach which are about 3 minutes away by car. Bachelor and Boca Grandi beaches (on the windy side of the island) are about a 5-minute drive from the house. Baby beach has some beach restaurants and bars but there are no hotels in the area which is quiet and residential. There are supermarkets and stores in San Nicolas which is about a 10-minute drive. The house is in a quiet and friendly residential neighbourhood with a mixture of local and ex-pat residents. Please note this is the south (quiet) end of the island and is about a 30-minute drive from the airport, 40 minutes from Oranjestad and 50-minutes from the main tourist areas in the north of the island so that a car is necessary. The house was built in the 1950’s in the mid-century modern style as part of the original Lago Colony which was the residential area for the Lago oil refinery. The house is a mixture of original and updated features and is in a 1950’s theme. There are three bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a queen size bed and one with twin beds all with air-conditioning. The bedroom with the queen size bed has French doors leading to the pool. There are two bathrooms with toilet, wash basin and shower and one bathroom with just a toilet and washbasin. The kitchen was updated in 2012 and is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven and induction cook top. All rooms have ceiling fans. In the living room we have a TV set with cable and Apple TV. We provide free high speed WiFi internet access. The house has a large landscaped walled back yard with a beautiful L-shaped 10-metre swimming pool swimmable with rinsing shower. There is a shaded palapa in the yard where you can enjoy your morning coffee or cocktails at sunset or just read your book. There is a large covered outdoor patio with a comfortable seating area, a dining area and BBQ. There are 6 beach chairs, cooler, towels for the beach or pool. The yard, patio and pool are for the exclusive use of renters and are not shared with other properties. Your host will meet you at the house and show you around.
