Escape to this brand new vacation home in Siren WI. Nestled on a spacious lot with plenty of room to park a trailer, surrounded by giant pines. This modern home offers a peaceful retreat while being minutes away from cafes, shops, lakes, trails & parks! Ideal for families or groups with plenty of room to play, explore & unwind. Continuously updating! The space This “cabin” in the woods, lovingly coined Lilac Lodge for our shared love of Lilacs and Siren’s history with the flower, built completely from below ground to roof by your host, Corey. There are two private bedrooms with ceiling fans, a great room with very tall ceilings, a loft perfect for lounging well equipped with games, toys, books and movies, a full kitchen completely stocked with the essentials and two full bathrooms. We added a covered porch and a huge patio a with a grill and fire pit. The property is packed full of tall red and white pines, wildflowers scattered throughout and even the occasional raspberry! We’ve seen deer, a very healthy and happy red fox and plenty of birds. We’ve heard yipping and howling at night. We’ve seen plenty of evidence of all sorts of wildlife just out the front door! Our kids have created play areas in all corners of this property including a tree with a fairy house, a teepee made of tree branches, and “secret hideouts” they want you to discover. There are no formal trails, but we welcome you to explore the woods! We hope you find this place to be a comfortable retreat from daily life. Add your height (yes, everyone! Even if you think you’re done growing) to our homemade growth chart and come back another time to see how much you’ve grown (or shrunk!)! Lilac Lodge is in the heart of Burnett County with plenty to do for everyone! Guest access The entire property is yours to explore and make your own while you’re here! Guests have access to a boat slip at Knotty Pines!You may be visiting the area for something specific, but we have no doubt you’ll be happy spending some time on the property, too. Between the games, movies, fire pit, grill, acres of woodland and the comfortable space, you’re sure to have a good time even if you don’t step foot off the property! Very close to parks, restaurants, bars, coffee, trails, grocery, gas & liquors stores. Other things to note This charming small town hasn’t been able to connect us to internet yet. We have cell service in the house and have dvd players and DVDs to supplement the lack of streaming availability! If you need WiFi while you are here, we are happy to point you to either of the two great coffee shops in town - less then a 5 minute drive (by car, but also accessible via snow mobile or atv) away.
