The space This “cabin” in the woods, lovingly coined Lilac Lodge for our shared love of Lilacs and Siren’s history with the flower, built completely from below ground to roof by your host, Corey. There are two private bedrooms with ceiling fans, a great room with very tall ceilings, a loft perfect for lounging well equipped with games, toys, books and movies, a full kitchen completely stocked with the essentials and two full bathrooms. We added a covered porch and a huge patio a with a grill and fire pit. The property is packed full of tall red and white pines, wildflowers scattered throughout and even the occasional raspberry! We’ve seen deer, a very healthy and happy red fox and plenty of birds. We’ve heard yipping and howling at night. We’ve seen plenty of evidence of all sorts of wildlife just out the front door! Our kids have created play areas in all corners of this property including a tree with a fairy house, a teepee made of tree branches, and “secret hideouts” they want you to discover. There are no formal trails, but we welcome you to explore the woods! We hope you find this place to be a comfortable retreat from daily life. Add your height (yes, everyone! Between the games, movies, fire pit, grill, acres of woodland and the comfortable space, you’re sure to have a good time even if you don’t step foot off the property! Very close to parks, restaurants, bars, coffee, trails, grocery, gas & liquors stores. Other things to note We are on 3 wooded acres. We have a dock slip down the road on Clam Lake! There’s more than enough room to park a trailer, boat, ATV, ect and turn around
