Charming apartment with garden in a local home

Cozy apartment on the ground floor next to our home. With private entrance, terrace (table, chairs, armchairs, parasol), equipped kitchen, dining room, bedroom with two beds (190 x 80) that can be combined into one, shower room (shower), separate toilet. Accommodation located in the center of the village, close to shops (bakery, market, butcher, newsstand, restaurant, bank...). Free parking nearby. 20 min drive to Angoulême, several buses during the day The space The 35 m2 accommodation includes an equipped kitchen, a large dining room, a bedroom with storage, a shower room and a toilet. You have a private terrace with table, chairs and umbrella as well as garden furniture, two deckchairs and a ping pong table. Don't be surprised by some tall grass, the shared garden is in differentiated mowing. The cottage has central heating; we also provide wood if you would like to use the stove. You can discover part of our collection of comics as well as different board games. Guest access You access the accommodation through an independent entrance via an external staircase that overlooks the garden. Living next door, we will give you the keys upon arrival. If this is not possible, a key box is available. Cyclists, you can store your bikes safely and securely if you wish. Charging stations are available in the nearby Albizias parking lot for electric vehicles. Other things to note The Charente River crosses our village, Montignac-Charente, commune of La Boixe. You can cool off on the quays, facing the campsite or the port of the hamlet of Tapis. Nearby you will find different swimming spots (Le Portal...) and the canoe base. Marked trails will delight those who enjoy walking or cycling. You can find routes on the "Terra aventura", "Au fil de nos histoires" and "Izi travels" platforms. For those who are interested in horses, the racecourse hosts races in the summer. The immediate area is also rich in heritage: medieval gates of the rampart of Montignac, Abbey of St Amant de Boixe (1 km). Going a little further, discover other sites: the Gallo-Roman theater of Bouchauds (St Cybardeaux, 8 km), the Château de La Rochefoucauld (26 km) the villages of Nanteuil en Vallée, Tusson and Verteuil (about 30 km)... Every 27th of the month, you can stroll to the mythical Rouillac fair (12 km) And, of course, visit Angoulême, the capital of comics "but not only" (14 km) and Cognac (45 km). Many cultural, artistic and recreational activities are offered in the area (comics in Angoulême, different festivals depending on the period, farmers' markets, shows).
