NEW! The Phreude Loft - Apartment in Country House

Welcome to the Phreude Loft! Our newly built and modernly furnished apartment is located in a historic, completely renovated country house from 1757. Solid oak floors, an original, handmade wooden beam ceiling (1814) as well as stylish furniture, a modern kitchen and a private bathroom with rain shower provide a unique and quiet ambience! Centrally located in the tourist resort of Aschach an der Donau, only about 20 km away from Linz. The space Our Phreude Loft is a former country house and farm shed, built in 1814. The main house in the front area was built in 1757 (one year after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birth). The modern kitchen and bathroom with rain shower and river stone sink was once a cow barn many years ago. We converted the former shed into a large-scale recording studio in 2014. The main studio has now been moved to the front house, the Phreude Loft is still used as a recording studio and as a songwriting workshop seminar room. The room-in-room construction makes the Phreude Loft an oasis of peace. Guest access The Phreude Loft is approximately 80 square meters and consists of a large, open-plan living and sleeping area with a dining area for four people, a desk, a wardrobe, a pull-out sofa bed (width 140 cm) and a large king-size double bed. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and its own dining area. The bathroom, also built in 2025, offers a toilet, river stone sink, infrared heating as well as a rain shower. Other things to note Attention: The Phreude Loft may not be used as a party room. Smoking is not allowed in the Phreude Loft.
