Facing one of the largest private gardens in Quezon City, MiraNamin is a rare oasis in the middle of the city. Over the years, MiraNamin has been home to various artists, musicians, and dreamers. This is a place where you can relax, reset, and enjoy. The KAMANTIGI ROOM offers its own STUDY space, a widescreen TV, a REFRIGERATOR, and 5-star quality beds. Guests have access to a SHARED KITCHEN, a ROOFTOP DINING area, and soon, a cozy ROOFDECK lounge and PET SUITE. The LIVING ROOM, with a sofa that converts into a bed, is perfect for sharing stories and creating memories. The ground floor houses the HAPPY GARDEN CAFE on one side, and our INDOOR PLUNGE POOL and DRESSING SUITE on the other. The SECOND FLOOR houses 6 suites, while the THIRD FLOOR houses 2 suites, and 2 kitchens. The FOURTH FLOOR is our roof deck and features an outdoor dining area and lounge, where guests can enjoy the sunset and views of Quezon City. AROUND YOU at close proximity are a number of great DINING OPTIONS, CONVENIENCE STORES, a Robinson's SHOPPING MALL and the TAGO JAZZ BAR where some of the country's top jazz musicians perform. More of these can be found in our GUIDE BOOK as well. ABOUT MIRANILA MiraNila Compound in Quezon City is a HERITAGE site rich in history and cultural significance. Built in 1929 by the Benitez family, this majestic villa that was occupied by the JAPANESE in WWII, was spared thanks to their vigilant gardener, who revealed himself as a Japanese officer. The main house, with its ITALIANATE architecture, features elegant porches, balconies, and deep bracketed eaves. It welcomed dignitaries, family, and friends, and remains the only house on historic Mariposa Street with its ORIGINAL FIXTURES and furnishings. In 2011, MiraNila was granted HERITAGE HOUSE status by the National Historical Commission and transformed into a living MUSEUM. The adjacent townhouse, built in 1990, now functions as MIRANAMIN NEST, managed by The Nest By The Sea, in partnership with Bizu Patisserie and The Blue Leaf. MIRANILA hosts celebrations, reunions, and cultural events, offering visitors a unique blend of history and modernity. Guest access Embark on culinary expeditions in the well-equipped SHARED KITCHEN, then wander to the ROOFTOP DINING area for panoramic views of the MiraNila estate. Other things to note THINGS TO CONSIDER: >Stairway access to upper floors (elevator coming soon) >Renovation of some areas may still be ongoing >No loud music or rowdy parties >Potential for noise from street vehicles >Special events within the property which may affect parking >Pets allowed after approval process, with a P1,000 pet fee >Illegal downloads are not tolerated in our homes >Extra charges may be applied for special requests such as early check in or late check out. >Daytime guest fees are charged for daytime guests, suppliers, photographers, and staff >Our Indoor Plunge Pool, Dressing Suite, or Rooftop may not be available for a portion of your stay if they are being used for a function CLEANING MiraNamin is a SELF-SERVICE bed and breakfast. As such, we have limited staff to cater to guests' needs. Cleaning and sheet CHANGES are done every 3 DAYS for long-staying guests. PETS Pets need to pass through an APPROVAL process before they are allowed into our home, after which a small pet fee is applied. DISCOUNTS Our guests often regret not booking longer, so we've added in discounts for stays of 2 nights or more. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to that extra day! BATHTUB If your bathroom does not have a bathtub, there is a clawfoot bathtub on the rooftop with a great view, and hot and cold water. This is available for all MiraNamin guests to use. The bathtub comes with a lounge chair, and there is a shower and changing area nearby. ELEVATOR While we are pursuing plans of installing an ELEVATOR in our home, some guests might have difficulty using the STAIRCASE to reach the suites for the meantime. RENOVATIONS You may also notice some ongoing renovations on the PET SUITE and ELEVATOR which are slated to open by December 2025.
