Elegant home on 9 acres in the heart of the Finger Lakes, located 4 miles from Watkins Glen International racetrack, the village of Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake, and the world famous Watkins Glen State Park, and Montour Falls with the famous Shequaga Falls. Over 50 wineries, a distillery, many microbreweries, great restaurants and dozens of waterfalls within a 40 minute drive. Half an hour to Ithaca and Cornell University, Corning and the Corning Glass Museum. The space The house features: ~ a fully equipped kitchen ~ a large dining room table (with an extra leaf, if needed) ~ 2 1/2 bathrooms ~ 5 bedrooms (2 downstairs , and 3 upstairs ) ~ a large TV on which to watch videos, or even a GoPro recording ~ a gas fireplace in the living room Outdoor space: ~covered porch on the side of the house near the stream ~ deck in back of the house with a table and seating ~ a gas grill ~ a fire pit ~ and a large yard for Golf Frisbee or just to enjoy ~ plenty of parking space Guest access Guests will receive a code for access the Monday before arrival. We have already booked for next year. -The house itself was fabulous. Such a great layout for gathering. One of the most well-stocked kitchens we have ever encountered. Comfortable beds, soft linens, a tea kettle in the kitchen (a rare find). I can’t recommend this house enough and would return to Watkins Glen just to stay here! -Home was exactly as described. Had a group of 10 and house was perfect size and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Had lots of pamphlets and guidebooks for the local area. House was in the country but only 2 miles from the village, so it was a perfect setting.
