Inside, you’ll find two large bedrooms, a spacious loft, and three full bathrooms. Tucked away on a private, quiet street, yet conveniently located near two fantastic restaurants—this is the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation + kid-friendly! The space NOTE: We require 3 night minimum except during peak season Memorial Day through Labor Day is 5 night minimum…BUT would consider shorter nights and not 24 hour buffer, please message request. Private cabin minutes from Rumbling Bald amenities of beach, pools, putt-putt, gym, spa, restaurants, golf, and tennis/pickleball courts. Beautifully decorated with two bedrooms, both with attached bathrooms, and a loft, also with a full bathroom! Circular paved driveway greets you when you arrive at the home with plenty of flat parking for 6+ cars. Either enter through front door or side door into mud room, equipped with washer and dryer for your use. The two bedrooms (one with king bed and one with queen bed) are on main floor only a few steps from parking. Enjoy grilling out on back deck or cooking in stocked kitchen. Programmable pot and Keurig coffee machines are available, so bring your favorite supplies or buy them at the Ingles grocery store that is 12 minute drive. Working from home? No problem, there is a sitting/work area if you need some alone time to check emails. All rooms have soft sheets with cozy blankets and beautiful bedding. Kids/Teens can enjoy having a set of queen beds, full pull out sofa bed and a pull out twin bed in the upper level loft. The living room leads to a deck with comfortable seating, and step down to beautiful rock patio with a fire-pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows for s’more’s. There is a game closet inside including but not limited to corn hole and a karaoke machine. The mountains are calling! There are two 18-hole championship golf courses available to book as guests of this home: Bald Mountain and Apple Valley. Take advantage of all the resort property offers: golfing, fishing, hiking, swimming. It also makes a beautiful wedding venue with full staff and catering. Guest access Located on the north shore of beautiful Lake Lure, you will have full guest access to Rumbling Bald, a 3,000+ acre property that is home to a private white sand beach, children’s water park, distinct dining experiences and numerous hiking and biking trails. There are two 18-hole championship golf courses available to book as guests of this home: Bald Mountain and Apple Valley. Take advantage of all the resort property offers: golfing, fishing, hiking, swimming, kayak and SUP rentals, several dining options, tennis courts, basketball court, mini golf course, scenic sunset cruise, and a spa & salon for all those updo hairstyles and winding down. You can also rent a pontoon boat from resort for 1/2 day minimum and dock it at the house. Longer term rentals are also available and you can also bring your own boat. Reach out to property manager for info and updates. Other things to note Go to the sandy beach area to swim or walk on the beach while eating ice cream from the cabana! Pontoon Boat tours and rental boats, SUP's, single and tandem kayaks are available at the beach. There are also sunset cruises you can book. This resort also makes a beautiful wedding venue. There is beauty everywhere you look. Full Ingles grocery store is 8 miles away. Lake Lure is now open for swimming, boating, fishing, or just floating!! It was closed from Oct 2024 - May 2026 due to Army Corp of Engineers efforts to remove vast debris and sediment deposited during Hurricane Helene flooding. The beach at Rumbling Bald is also open with playground, pavilion, grassy field, marina, docks, cabana, and sandy beach. There was utter devastation on Sept 27, 2024 with flooding in downtown Lake Lure & Chimney Rock resulting in bridges and roads washing out. Chimney Rock State Park has been open since June, 2025. The people of this area depend on and are desperate for tourism to return to this beautiful mountain town so please book and help support our recovery.
