This 2 bedroom semi-detached traditional character cottage is the perfect choice for couples and small families, with delightful private patio garden & parking space. Beautifully renovated and fully equipped for guests and benefits from log burner and separate dining area with work desk. The beautiful North Cornish coastline and its popular sandy beaches and bays are just a short drive from the cottage. pets are accepted by prior arrangement. Short breaks available. The space Rock Cottage is situated in a central village location, with the village pub the Ring O' Bells pub together with the Pickwick Inn (with its fascinating Charles Dickens connection) are both close by serving great local food and drink and accepts dogs in the bars. Close by is the picturesque cycle path - the Camel Trail which runs alongside the ever changing estuary River Camel as well as beautiful North Cornwalls popular sandy beaches and bays, just a short drive from the cottage. Rock Cottage is a deceptively spacious holiday home with a lovely landscaped, paved patio area and a beautiful view towards the village church. Accommodation Entrance Hall from front door leads to: Lounge - Dual aspect with windows to front and side, open beamed ceiling, radiators, 2 sofas, nest of tables, Smart TV and a wood burning stove set on granite hearth. Included with every booking is a complimentary starter kit for the log burner including small stock of logs together with kindling & firelighters. Please note: Wood burning stove is not recommended for use with children staying. Dining Room – with dining table and chairs for four guests and single work station/desk area. Slate flagstone flooring, open beamed ceiling, Central heating radiator, and window to front. Please note: height from lowest point of beam to floor is 1.78m (5'10") – please refer to images. Kitchen - Modern fitted kitchen - fully equipped for a self catering stay, built-in stainless steel electric oven, electric induction hob with stainless steel extractor hood over, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and built-in slimline dishwasher. Stairs to First Floor Landing – with window to rear, radiator, feature exposed timber beams. Recently installed retractable stair gate at top of stairs. Bedroom One – King-sized bedroom with bedside table and lamps, built-in wardrobe with hanging space (and stores ironing board), chest of drawers, wall mirror, hairdryer, power sockets with USB charge points. Low level window to front. Part exposed timber beams and radiator. Bedroom Two – Twin bedroom, 2 full size single beds, bedside tables with lamps, power socket with USB charging points, hairdryer, wall mirror, hanging hooks for clothes with hangers. Low level window front, exposed timber beams, chest of drawers and radiator. Family Bathroom - Spacious bathroom with panelled bath with fully tiled surround, Mira Jump electric shower over bath, low level toilet, wash hand basin, large heated towel rail, 2 windows to side. Cupboard housing washer/dryer, iron, mop and bucket and Dyson Vacuum. Please note: There are stairs leading up to the Family Bathroom. Outside Parking – to the left hand side there is off road parking for one vehicle Not suitable for Vans/caravans Garden – with table and chairs for four guests. The garden is situated at the side and rear of the cottage with pedestrian gate to road. A path leads up to a lovely raised paved patio area with slate chipping surround with small tree/shrub borders, all attractively fenced with a lovely view of the village church. Garden Store one – stores clothes airer, buckets & spades, portable doggy shower for use at the cottage. Garden Store two - bike shed. Please bring your own padlock, and ensure you have adequate insurance to cover your bikes and items whilst away from home. Please note: The neighbouring property has a pedestrian right of access across the side path into their rear garden, daylight hours only. Equipment Provided - Travel cot and high chair available on request ahead of arrival (no charge). Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot. Bed linen and towels provided – don't forget to bring your beach towels Damage Deposit - £100 refundable security deposit is required before arrival . Pets accepted by prior arrangement – maximum of 2 pets @£30 per pet for stays of up to 7 nights. Charges apply for longer stays.
