BASQUE COUNTRY Welcome to the Mendy fronton gîte. Well equipped and freshly renovated, this gîte offers a peaceful stay in the center of a Basque village. Perfect for a family, up to 5 people, you will spend, in peace, privileged moments between sea and mountains. Whether you are resting, cycling/walking, wildlife/flora observer, foodie/gourmet, board games/reading, BBQ/induction, sofa/hammock or just curious to discover the area, you are in the right place. The space There is a public parking lot just in front of the house. On the front facade, you can see a brown door in the photo (it's fake, it's a decoy). For your peace of mind, you will enter through the gate on the right side. The gate opens onto the large patio with pergola. Garden furniture and dining table await you. Well settled in? Then enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and enjoy the sound of silence. A relaxing, enjoyable time is guaranteed! The garden is mainly composed of fruit trees and flowering bushes. Going down the stairs, you'll find an area dedicated to wood and charcoal barbecue. Then further on, a hammock is stretched under the fig trees. Zenitude and serenity. Hopefully the 2 hens will offer you fresh eggs in the early morning! Past the secure front door, the day hall leads to all the rooms on the ground floor. In its extension, you will enter the open kitchen, fully equipped with living room (2-seater sofa and 3-seater sofa) and dining room also for 5 people. A pellet stove is also in this central living room. On the right, you will find the shower room with washing machine and separate toilet. Finally, the stairs that go upstairs. On the first floor, on your left, the main bedroom of 20 m2 (bed of 180 x 200), and on your right the second bedroom with 3 beds namely 2 bunk beds (2 x 90 x 200) and a bed (90 x 200). Cabinets are available for storing your belongings. Access to the games room or quiet room, it's up to you, in the attic, is via bedroom 2. Three skylights illuminate this room. The themes of the decoration of the cottage are Nature and the planet Earth. The colors are white, Basque red, black and green.
