'The Annex' at ‘Southdowns’ in beautiful historic Shaftesbury is a converted modern studio apartment, only two minutes walk from iconic Gold Hill and the centre of town. Shaftesbury is famous not only for the Hovis commercial but also the historic Abbey ruins and has a fabulous range of restaurants, pubs, shops and cultural venues, all within walking distance. The space The Annex is light, spacious and comfortable with beautiful contemporary decor and plenty of space to relax and make yourself at home. There is a culinary influence to the space, from photos of famous chefs to a multitude of cookery books, and the kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, hob and fridge. On entering the ‘Annex’ You come into the kitchen area. A worktop provides plenty of cookery prep, should you wish to cook. A range of saucpans, utensils and crockery are provided. There is a small breakfast bar with two stools. Through the door to the left is the shower room and toilet. The open plan living space at the other end contains a large sofa, sofa bed, coffee table and large TV. There is a selection of books and magazines to browse through. Next to the window is a modern dining table and 4 chairs. Heating is provided by 2 powerful electric wall heaters. We are a new listing and as yet have no reviews. Guest access The annex is completely private for our guests. A staircase at the side of the building leads you to the front door. Off road Parking is provided right in front.
