The space Granny Smith Cabin is hosted at Manzano Mountain Retreat, a family-owned apple orchard and small farm nestled in the heart of the Cibola National Forest. Set on 138 acres, including 40 acres of apple orchards, the retreat offers a peaceful escape from daily life. Enjoy the perfect balance of outdoor adventure and comfort as you explore the natural beauty of this serene getaway. Features onsite: Hiking Trails Scottish Highland Cows (including Minis!) and mini-donkeys Mercantile with necessities & gifts Pond and dock (sometimes reserved for weddings) Onsite Fitness Center with Day or Week Pass Access The cabin itself has mini fridges & Keurigs on both sides, plus a microwave in one bedroom. Guest access You will have access to your entire cabin with a private entrance. You will have access to the general property, farm animals, trails, Mercantile, and more! We will occasionally have weddings and other events that may be onsite during your stay, who have reserved designated spaces (pond, banquet hall, field) during certain times of the day. We will provide you with information about booked events and spaces when you arrive. Other things to note Make sure to gas up before you head to the mountains. We are on a mountain property and guests are subject to our rules and regulations. This is a mountain experience, so there is much wildlife to see but also to be mindful of. Please do not feed any wild animals. Our owners and staff do have dogs onsite, plus some outdoor barn cats.
