Domaine GUIET is the perfect place for your holidays with family or friends. Thanks to its large house and outbuilding, you can meet up to 15 people and fully enjoy our beautiful region. This beautiful 18th century building is surrounded by a large 5-acre park, its pond, its vineyard and stunning views of the classified village of Château-Chalon. The space The Domaine GUIET is two houses: 1. The main house of the Domaine offers large and beautiful spaces, decorated with taste and comfort. On the ground floor, the house includes a large open entrance serving the different rooms. A living room, a relaxation room (with musical instruments and in particular a very beautiful grand piano; a secretary; etc.), a dining room and a large renovated old-fashioned kitchen. The side with the first living room and dining room overlooks the south side of the house and offers a long balcony overlooking the house's park and Château-Chalon. On the lower space of the house, with a first access at the bottom of the dining room, you will find a very large master suite, offering a double bed of 180, a desk, as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. This room also has an outdoor access overlooking the Domaine's park, allowing people with reduced mobility to access the suite. Upstairs you will find 4 large bedrooms: - Bedroom 1, view of Nevy-sur-Seille: 140 double bed, desk, sofa, wardrobe, decorative fireplace and ample storage space. - Bedroom 2, view of Nevy-sur-Seille, the park and Château-Chalon: 140 double bed, desk, wardrobe, decorative fireplace and ample storage space - Bedroom 3, overlooking the Domaine's park and Château-Chalon: 140 double bed, decorative fireplace, storage space. - Bedroom 4, view of the Domaine's park: Master suite, with 140 double bed, bathroom and toilet adjoining the suite, desk, wardrobe, decorative fireplace and ample storage space. - A smaller bedroom, between bedroom 3 and bedroom 4, simply accommodates a single bed, and a baby bed. Ideal for a small child's room. On this floor, you will also find a bathroom with walk-in shower, and toilet. You will also have a laundry area, offering a washing machine and dryer. 2. The outbuilding of the Domaine: in an authentic atmosphere with its exposed stones, wooden beams, decorative wood stove and old bread oven, all its details recall the ancestral character of the house and invite you to relax. A real cozy nest, this outbuilding can accommodate up to 5 additional people thanks to a sleeping area arranged with simplicity for peaceful nights with its two double beds and a single bed. The kitchen offers a glimpse of the green setting of the Domaine GUIET park, making your stay more pleasant. A small outdoor corner, on the front of the house at a height, with a table and deckchairs, will allow you to enjoy the sun and the serenity of the village. The Domaine GUIET has a 5-acre wooded park, a pond with some trout and carp, and a vineyard producing about 1,500 bottles per year. You will also have the opportunity to taste it... as a welcome gift. Dan (son of Jean-Claude GUIET, a French Resistance spy during World War II) and Carol, his wife, resided in Colorado, in the United States. At the time, the two traveled to France in search of where Dan's father had lived during the war. As a result, during their various journeys and discoveries, they fell madly in love with the Jura and this property. For nearly 25 years, Dan and Carol renovated the house and outbuilding (often a guest house) and spent several months in a row enjoying, living in and renovating the house. Today, we, Eric & Peter, sons of Dan and Carol, are happy to welcome you here to, in turn, enjoy it for a few days.
