Wyford - Garden Cottage

Wyford is a beautiful old school farm set in a valley just 2km off the N3 (about midway between Johannesburg and Durban) offering private self catering cottages. Wyford is great for families, especially with children, and good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. It is of historical interest as it is situated on the first pass over the Drakensburg mountains used by the ox wagons taking supplies to the mines from the coast. The space The Garden Cottage is a small cozy unit in an enclosed garden. It is a bed sitter type of unit with a double bed and a single bed in the same room with a sitting nook with a fireplace and television at one side and a kitchen at the other. The separate bathroom has a free standing shower and a bath. There is a portable braai in the garden and a car port plus a satellite dish but bring own decoder and card. Guest access Guest may explore the whole farm and see farm animals up close. Other things to note Our farm is quite far from shops so bring everything with you. We supply all bedding, towels and kitchen equipment including microwave, stove, braai (barbecue) and fridge.
