The house is very quietly located just outside the village. From the kitchen window you have a magnificent view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the unique pine forests of the Lower Engadine. The Volg and the post office are located in the village center (about 350m away). Guarda can be reached from the Giarsun train station by postal bus. From Guarda you can do wonderful ski tours to the Val Tuoi. The ski area Motta Naluns can be reached via Ardez and Ftan by car in 15 minutes, via Scuol by train in 15 minutes. The neighbouring Ardez has a cross-country ski run. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but snow chains or a 4x4 drive are still an advantage, depending on the snowfall and road conditions. A pick-up service from the train station can be arranged. In summer, the region offers fantastic opportunities for hikes of all lengths. The hike from Guarda to Val Tuoi to the beautiful Lai Blau is very popular. The Swiss National Park is located nearby.
