Whether it’s a relaxing space to just unwind, read a book with a glass of wine or a base to stay before venturing off to explore ‘God’s own Country’ The Hideaway has everything you need to make for a comfortable stay. The space A well-appointed living space awaits, where you can enjoy a cozy evening or a quiet drink, accompanied by thoughtful touches that enhance your stay. Living room has 2 comfortable sofas, free-sat TV and WI-FI. Independent nest heating allows your stay to be warm and comfortable, as you like it. Step into a warm and inviting bedroom, meticulously curated to offer a peaceful night’s rest. Soft linens and ambient lighting create an atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. Whether you're preparing a breakfast for two or enjoying a takeout from a local hotspot, the kitchen caters to your culinary needs with practical, easy-to-use appliances. The compact galley design is fully equipped with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, 2 burner induction hob and an air fryer large enough to cook a 12” Pizza. The ensuite bathroom is your personal sanctuary. Experience luxury with modern fixtures, a shower, and towels that add a touch of luxury to your daily routine. Access to rear garden with seating on patio and raised decking area. Complete with roof covered seating in the Dog & Duck (outside snug area) with festooned lighting including an executive hot tub for 2 people to share, making a great fun space to reminisce the day’s adventures over a glass of wine or cold beer. The house is over 3 floors, we will be living above the Annexe on the 2 floors above. So there may be some normal sound from time to time. We also have 3 small dogs, which again you may occasionally hear. Outside to the far rear of the garden is the duck area, again most of the time they are quiet but do like to say hello if they see you, feel free to see them and talk to them but please do not enter the duck garden. If you are lucky you will get some fresh eggs for breakfast, subject to availability. Nestled conveniently close with access to The Heads of Valley road network, this annexe offers quick access to vibrant cafes, delightful eateries, and cultural landmarks. Explore Abergavenny or Brecon towns or Brecon Beacons, knowing a restful home is waiting for you. As you arrive at The Hideaway and begin to walk down the steps, don’t forget to look towards the right and you can see the marker on the skyline for the 14th hole of the West Monmouth Golf Club, this is highest golf tee in the UK. Make this charming escape your base for a rejuvenating visit while delighting in the charm that is ‘God’s Own Country’. Guest access Guests have own separate entrance into property with a lockbox. There are some shallow gravel steps taking you from driveway level to the annex. Other things to note The Hideaway is not suitable for children of any age. There a number of step’s leading down to the entrance, these are 4 decking steps and shallow gravel steps, this may be unsuitable for any guests with limited mobility.
