The space Step inside to an 18th-century home that balances architectural heritage with immersive comfort. • The Ground Floor: The front door opens to a beamed sitting and dining space with a roaring inglenook wood burner. Unwind into vintage chairs or a deep emerald sofa with feather-filled designer cushions. An open kitchen flows into a glass garden room, linked by a hand-painted checkerboard floor. This opens to a secure, cobbled garden with a private fire pit and festoon-lit fruit trees. • The Upper Floor: Like stepping into Alice in Wonderland, an authentic Z-braced plank door opens to a winding staircase leading upstairs, fully laid in natural sisal. - "The Cubby": Panelled in Farrow & Ball's 'Pointing', featuring a flexible King/Twin suite with a bold Mind the Gap headboard and John Derian artwork. - "The Nook": A rich Double room featuring an oversized headboard in GP & J Baker rich teal and wine tones. - Shower Room: Features tongue-and-groove panelling, a black-and-white checkerboard floor, and hand-painted border details. Parking: Parking is available off the road on the cobbles immediately at the bottom of the steps by the property. This is shared parking used by the houses on the corner of the street, including Pocket Cottage. Please park with consideration of neighbours by parking parallel to the road and not blocking paths. Guest access All of the space is available for guest use. Note, we have a right of access via the end house’s garden to reach our own shed and garden. Other things to note Pocket Cottage can only be accessed using the steps at the front of the property. In addition, as this is a tiny house built in 1746, parts of the building have pitched and/or low ceilings. People with mobility issues should consider this before booking.
