The Small Farm Buninver

Nestled in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Small Farm is the perfect getaway for those seeking peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful countryside, whilst also offering ample opportunties for scenic exploring and family activities. Located just outside Gortin town, you won't need to travel far to make the most of your staycation with everything a short car ride away. The space The property is a detached bungalow with gardens and the original barns for the farm it once was. The house is accessed by a lane from the single track road so you have plenty of space to yourselves to enjoy. Contained within the house are two king rooms, one single room and a second living room with sofa bed if required. There is also the main living room, kitchen with dining area and accessible bathroom. Guest access Guests are free to enjoy any areas of the house and grounds except for the surrounding derelict barns as these are falling into a state of disrepair and so are unsafe for guest access. We would appreciate your cooperation in ensuring this for your own safety. Other things to note There is a range of local activites and attractions nearby: Gortin Lakes - <5 minute drive - for scenic walks and/or a dip with a picnic Gortin Glen Forest Park - <10 min drive - various trails of varying difficulty for keen hikers, as well as mountain bike trails and a large kids play park with cafe. Dark Sky Observatory - <20 mins - Observatory and forest with walking trails for those intersted in star gazing Sperrin Mountains - various walking and cycling routes available online and accessed from the house or nearby Gortin town (< 5 mins drive).
